What’s It Like in Heaven on Christmas Day

What’s it like in heaven on Christmas Day?

If only I could climb the clouds,

To see my mam and dad and hear them say,

“We’re watching over you, no need for doubts.”

I picture their smiles, shining so bright,

Filling the heavens with warmth and cheer.

Together in peace, everything feels right,

Surrounded by love, forever near.

I’d give them one big hug and say, “I miss you both,

Why couldn’t you stay? I long for your hugs.”

The joy they share, the laughter they bring,

Moments of comfort in that sacred space.

If I could speak, I’d let my heart flow,

To tell them how much I miss them each day.

Yet in my memories, their love will grow,

Together in spirit, they're never away.

So on this Christmas, though we’re far apart,

I hold them close, forever in my heart.

Love you, mam and dad, rest in peace,

George and Elsie Hurst 🌹♥️
