A dependable saying to ponder:

"Absence makes the heart grow fonder".

But it’s often opined,

“Out of sight, out of mind”.

So which one is right, I wonder?

I love this! I have always wondered which phrase rings true...but I finally concluded that both work, depending on the situation! Excellent!

You are right, there is LIMIT to being alone and WAITING for the right person and the right love experience to come along, that then leads to us trying to shut down the feelings and emotions of the disappointment of all the time given to waiting in great anticipation of wonderful love and the actual kind of life we wanted. Aka the reason for all of us to write and ponder our reflection on the results of the individual paths and challenges of the lives we were given to live! Very well captured in just a few short sentences and w very well known sayings indeed! :-)
