What might become of me?
Beyond Time and Behind Stars

To give my soul to the night,
Light a flame in that eternal light,
And teach myself love
Again and again.
A donation of my heart to the
Most worthy of causes: Experience
Touched by deepest contrasts of
Love and fear, anchored in a
Selfdom of nothingness.
To add to this empty sky is glory:
Another sky-star to sing the
Miracle of breath eternal.
This is the most forgiving of
Natures: gaze and behold!
The Source of All that Is!
Unbirthed and Unbegun;
Oopy goopy,
Wibble wobbly love.
They tried to take this memory, you see.
To grasp in reaching desires of
More,
More,
More!
But I was undaunted:
I saw that they would choose
Peace when they were ready to
Carry the burden of freedom.
And thus I have tread the ground,
Again and then,
Making a battle of the soft things and the
Mystery held in eternal benevolence,
Beyond what the senses could
Taste, touch, and see.
To the eldritch instincts given.
I continue still,
Until my light brightens to a different
Dimension of being, and you,
Dearest reader, will see me
On the other side,
By the Grace of God.
About the Creator
Sabayo Matiku
I express the realities and frequencies that words are carried on, to speak to the heart in a manner that is simple and free. I've come to ruffle feathers and to polish the sky, to laugh and wonder.
