What is Too HOT!?

a poem

By Mark GrahamPublished 4 years ago 1 min read
Hot House (by niece Madison)

Hot spell,

Will it ever end,

I love summer, but

why always so hazy, hot and humid.

Humidity stinks when it is

already 95 and above.

Even the breeze is hot when it

blows.

The sky is so blue along with the

puffy white clouds;

too bad there are not enough of them

to block the hot sun even for an hour or two,

Yea, that would be nice, but

that would mean, yes, another pop-up

thunderstorm that

just makes it so much hotter and even more

humid.

When will it be Fall?

I am so ready for some much cooler

weather.

I am ready for falling leaves and a bit of

frost on the pumpkin.

No such luck where I live at the present

time. It will probably be

hazy, hot and humid

for the next two months and

September starts tomorrow.
