Oh! what a glorious Sunday morning.
Sunrise just coming over the horizon,
birds singing,
a gentle breeze.
You feel a presence;
You are not alone,
Thinking,
Wishing,
Talking with them.
Listening to them.
Hoping for answers,
asking for patience
in our daily living.
Helping and hoping
that is all that is necessary.
They know what you need
to help in your understanding
of what is needed for living
your life
and in general.
What are the skills that are
important to
your relationship with them?
Listening, hoping, thinking, and wishing?;
Loving and caring in general.
That is what it is all about
to me.

The Last Flame invited writers to sit with endings, using fire as a central image to consider what remains when something burns out: ash, warmth, memory, silence, or the faint promise of what comes next.
