Life can be full of joy and surprise,
Sometimes sadness or pain you'll encounter in its wise.
Through hardship and ease, life is to learn and teach,
Showing us to both work hard and sometimes to rest.
Through the laughter and the tears, life shows us many faces,
Of loneliness and moments of companionship in different places.
Along its path, life brings joys and fears,
Truly unique and distinct in each coming year.
Through all that we must go through, life has much to explore,
Giving us stories to share and paths to follow more.
In times of sorrow and of delight, life's teachings must come to light,
Inspiring us to seize each moment and make each one count for all its might.
