a real shot in the dark
the age of information
once a revelation
started a revolution
of self-proclaimed heretics
opinionated thoughts
bubble up on social media
the internet
becomes a place
where every word
is dressed as fact
in a world
full of information
adorned with sanctimony
no one stops to wonder
"where are my blind-spots?"
thanks to the algorithm
the almighty Artificial Intelligence
everybody sees
only what they believe
a young boy today
lost in the world
finds himself
in the threads of reddit
more than ready to edit
his beliefs and virtues
little does he know
these threads are trolls
writing fiction
the boy finds validation
better yet
confirmation bias
in the piercing blue light
the boy's found faith
even if it did
take away
self preservation

Getting Serious About Comedy (Part I)
If I were asked to remark on my life and the childhood that paved some road leading me to this point, I would have to say something about all the funny people who surrounded me for the last 26,872 days (and counting). Somewhere along that road, I became a big fan of laughter and the comedy that spawns it – and, I mean not only my own laughter, but the laughter of others, some of which I have actually been responsible for inducing.
