What Is Easter? A True Story
The answers in our prayers

What Is Easter? A true story
The stone was heavy, cold, and bare,
A tomb of silence, thick with prayer.
The world had wept, the sky turned black,
Hope lay still, no turning back.
Yet in the dawn, the earth did shake,
A breath, a pulse, the grave would break.
From shadowed depths, He rose anew,
A whisper turned the morning blue.
Not death nor nails could hold Him tight,
Not darkness steal the promised light.
For love had spoken, torn the veil,
And even hell was doomed to fail.
So lift your voice, let sorrow cease,
This is the dawn of boundless peace.
The cross was pain, the grave was loss,
But victory blooms beyond the cross.
