The cold sun
Drenches everything in luminescence
Diffused by ice cold sheets of cloud hung upright.
It does not warm, but does invite and inspire the passersby, I’m sure
Small runs, jumps, side steps and such,
graceful determination through the cold
powered by this frozen battery burning
a billion miles away.
A lighthearted character remains thawed in the
essence of these people, and the
bustle keeps the little hub warm, just warm enough
today at least,
and I bask in the possibility
to become a part of it all
this jolly winter mechanism it is today
at least
