What Is Comfort?

What is comfort? I ask of thee,

Be it found in the shade of a tree?

Or perhaps tis the song of the wind in the leaves.

The sigh of the ocean one may believe,

Or the stillness of the woods may it seem.

Perhaps tis the smell of the pages of a book,

Or how a loved one shares a look.

The magic of music is quite convincing,

Or the wind in your hair as you are sprinting.

A warm embrace from one of your heart,

May be all it takes for you to start

That feeling of comfort from taking root

And spreading from your hair to your boots.

For comfort cannot be contained,

And shall not ever need to be explained.
