What I said when I was sleeping

Poem by Maggie Bulloch

By Maggie BullochPublished 5 years ago 1 min read

Late Night

Love making

Sleep talking

And you wake me, and hold me

Shake me from a full moon dream

that I do not recall.

Now it is dawn,

lighting from a distant storm

flickering

through my bedroom

and I lay

feeding on thoughts and dreams

awake, like a sleeping cowgirl

thinking about all that I said

While I was asleep
