What do you desire

A short story / poem for the soul..

By Dead Since 97Published 6 years ago 1 min read

What happens to a vivid dream that you cannot seem to remember?

Does it dissipate like all memories eventually do?

Does it become part of who you are?

Does it hold weight in your subconscious?

For those of which who feel and perceive the world on a higher frequency, why is there such a deep rooted desire to give ourselves amnesia?

Maybe I have asked this same very question for lifetimes..

Maybe I continue to numb myself despite it all..

Maybe none of that matters,

And in this life, I’ll have the power to rewrite history.

The dream is coming back to me

In bits and pieces

One picture at a time

A golden dragon living in the shadows

Waiting to be painted in light

A way of life that I’m only beginning to understand..

Are you prepared to suffer in silence?

Are you prepared to heal in silence?

Are you prepared to finally serve a purpose in this beautifully-tragic world?

You have the power to be everybody’s everything.

Cast the doubt from your mind.

Seek to understand the misunderstood.

Carry an abundance of love in your heart.

Do not forget where you came from,

And know where you would like to go.

Be the embodiment of patience, kindness, compassion, and gratitude.

Despite being a mirror for all, you are no slave to your power.

Navigate this life with grace.

Share your inner wisdom, knowledge, and truth with the world.

In your simplest form, you are merely light perceiving light.

In human years your are 22.

That’s 22 lifetimes spent in this vessel in hopes to figure out what’s actually worth living and dying for.

Yet you killed yourself time and time again, just so that you could feel alive.

And for what?

For you to give up?

For you to survive?

For you to be in pain?

It’s time for you to wake up.

Step into the light.

Be Magical.

Be Loving.

And most importantly,

Be You.
