What do the Birds Know?

🕊️

By Colleen WaltersPublished 12 months ago Updated 12 months ago 1 min read

" Birds in the air, they don't worry, The sun's never scared that it won't rise, if all of creation depends on your goodness, why oh why can't I?

Anxiety is such a human thing, but what do the creatures know about you?"

The thought- provoking lyrics to a song . Some of us wear our regrets like shackles, and between the regrets of the past and the worrying about the future, we forget to live the now.

We are the only creatures who forget to live over the fear of dying. And so what do the creatures know? They know the sun will rise, the moon will set, and that God is faithful and true, and they don't know the pain of sin or how He died for us.

The rest of Creation is busy living the minutes, the hours, the days as if they are all that matter. Because they are.

“Therefore do not worry about tomorrow, for tomorrow will worry about its own things. Sufficient for the day is its own trouble.”

‭‭Matthew‬ ‭6‬:‭34‬ ‭NKJV‬‬
