What Did You Do?

Did you thank God for the sun yesterday

Or did you only lament the rain

Did you praise God in your trials

Or of them did you complain?

Did you praise the source of all life

Or did you thank your lucky stars

Did you stop to appreciate the Earth you have

Or did you wish to live on Mars?

Did you recognize your life is a gift

Or only wish hardship away

Did you enjoy a peaceful night of sleep

Or did you sleep away the day?

What did you take for granted

Know tomorrow is not a given

Look for blessings in all your life

For sometimes they are hidden.
