What a stranger world this is

Oh, What a stranger world this is!

By Muhammad TalhaPublished 4 months ago 1 min read

What a strange world this is,
Some are helpless and alone,
Some are dying of thirst in a desert, their story unknown.
Some are callous and carefree,
What a strange world this is.

Some are trapped in a net like fish,
Some have nothing, some are drunk on wealth,
Some are without hands, some without feet,
What a strange world this is.
Oh, what a strange world this is!

Some have distanced themselves from people,
Wealth has made them arrogant,
They want to challenge even God,
What a strange world this is.

Some are locked in a prison,
Ashamed of their deeds,
Their heart is filled with regret,
What a strange world this is.
Oh, what a strange world this is!

Some hate children,
Some would sacrifice themselves for a child's fingernail,
Some ache with the memory of a sick child,
What a strange world this is.

Some are far from home,
Like a flower separated from its garden,
Like a soul parted from its body,
What a strange world this is.

Oh, what a strange world this is!
Some are so faithless and disloyal,
A servant of the devil,
Engaged in tormenting people,
What a strange world this is.

Some are crazy in love,
They have become a legend among people,
Some have no home, no place to belong,
What a strange world this is.
Oh, what a strange world this is!

Some are obsessed with women,
Some are lost in worry for their homeland,
Some live with the thought of their shroud,
What a strange world this is.

Oh, what a strange world this is!
Oh, what a strange world this is!
Oh, what a strange world this is!
