Welcoming Them Back Again

The gift of faces

My face is free,

from a mask,

as I bask,

in a sea of faces.

An army of teeth,

smile at me,

how beautifully mesmerizing!

Dimples, once in hiding,

now, are abiding,

bringing joy and warmth again.

Unique noses,

are better than roses,

as they're doing distinctive poses;

breathing in precious air,

without hinderance,

or the slightest care.

Pull me in close,

it's called a hug...remember?

How I've missed the simple,

little, mannerisms and humanisms,

that I used to never say thank you for.

Now, they are slowly coming back,

my heart is cemented full,

at capacity, with gratitude, packed!
