Calm Game

Striving for the simple things

Road narrows, but it is full of comfort and ease.

Existence driving down familiar Peachtree Street.

Rushing traffic barrels down mind's highways.

Finally, in control of the wheel, steering, staring on.

Minimal distractions and attractions.

Less stuff and clutter in the gutters of neurocircuits.

One, two, or three options, not one hundred and three.

Simplistic options, produce a simplistic lifestyle.

Gratitude abounds and resounds off the walls of grace-house.

Sitting with familiar robe, warm tea mug, and fuzzy socks,

while the world outside passes by and utterly mocks,

that's quite alright... I do my thing and play my calm game.
