Creation As Solace?

Is the statue hidden in the marble?

Are there ideas, buried within my mind?

-

Strange, how simple life can be

I awake; I create. I daydream, contemplate.

In blissful solitude, yet surrounding me,

a thousand ideas, yearning to become.

-

''Creativity is existentialism''

Witness, the ink of my soul!

Behold, undeniable proof, I am here.

Weep, as the pages burn in the brazier of time,

unseen and vain, nonsense and rain.

-

very much akin to a dance, a quiet celebration,

an ebullition, a spectacle by and for one self-

One self? The pages, witness to ideas and less than ideas

Weep, the pages, scratches of the mind, proof, yes!

Undeniable proof, yes

Weep the pages-

I've been an avid reader for as long as I can remember, and a writer for many many years by now. The act of writing gives meaning to my life, creation as solace. I hope you enjoy my writings.
