Weather’s Whisper of changes
The sun beats down on broken land,
Cracks like lines drawn in the sand.
The rain pours hard, a sudden flood,
Streets run dark with rising mud.
The wind bends trees, they sway and lean,
A roaring force, fierce yet unseen.
The ice once strong begins to fade,
Glaciers melt, and waters wade.
The world is shifting, sky and sea,
A silent call for you and me.
A simple truth, so clear, so wide,
The weather turns, the earth’s our guide.

What a cool poem to introduce climate change in a way,
That was beautiful.
This is a silent call for an amazing poem! Great work
There is a real sense of urgency to this one, that makes the message come through succinctly and directly. Well done, Marie!
