We Say No To Your War
Leave our country out of your evil game

We Say No To Your War
You sit on thrones you didn’t earn
you twist the truth, you never learn
you smile as cities break and bend
and call it law, and call it friend
You dress in pride, you drink in fear
you point at foes that aren’t near
you build your power from the pain
of those who’ll never rise again
But listen—tyrants always fall
not with a bang, not with a brawl
the silence grows, the mirrors crack
and every ghost will call you back
The world won’t cheer your heavy hand
or praise your flag upon the land
a name like yours, though left unspoken,
lives in the dust of vows you’ve broken
You said let Britain burn,
but remember this, cold and stern:
whatever evil you send out
will soon return by karm’s hand

Nicely done, Marie. There are only two people in the world I can't wait to see the obituary for, and #1 is featured in this poem's cover photo.
I agree! People of the world want peace. We don't want war.
Agreed and well written.
I agree! So tired of tyrant men with small tools and narcissism, greed, psychopaths. I wrote a story about my dream I had one night. I dreamed there were peeps running away from a dictator. We were in a train station. I saw THAT DEMON Putin across the way. I walked over to the ugly leader, touched his shoulder. He looked back at me with evil demon eyes. I cringed and slipped away from the crowd. I had goose bumps all over. Upon awakening I felt cold chills. Yes, I am a psychic dreamer for 75 years of my life.
