We Need The Lantern's Light

We surely do.

We Need The Lantern's Light

When darkness fills our lives,

We need the lantern's light.

If we choose to do right,

Jesus will be our guide.

Each time our faith wavers,

It's light will make us strong.

It will be our beacon

Each time we can't go on.

It may seem lightning strikes.

Our hearts feel fragile, torn.

Lantern's light gives us hope

To face adversity.

Lanterns - symbol of love,

And they act as a bridge

Between the present, past,

An everlasting bond.

Lantern's light - therapy

When loved one's pass away.

Each flicker represents

Vibrant memories held dear.

The lantern's light will help

Our testimony grow.

There are so many ways

It helps us on our way.

This is a beautiful poem, Dala. I especially love: "Lanterns - symbol of love/ And they act as a bridge/ Between the present, past/An everlasting bond."
