In The Darkness

There they were dancing in the club, I knew she would be there

With my sweetie, he was mine in the darkness,

When others weren’t around

He belonged to me

He said he didn’t want her, but he wouldn’t leave her

Not now, while the children were young

So we met in the darkness,

He was good too, sweet in bed

I wanted him all the time

I didn’t mind him being with her

I knew I shouldn’t be with him

But oo la la be calling me

I think I love him now

Dam, I’m complicating things

Oh well his sweet ass

Will just have to keep on being mine

The way it is until

Things change.
