People say: utilize your strengths. I find strength in words. Words on paper hold a deeper meaning, they express the feeling that a mouth cannot always form.
We often talk of fear, and how it holds us back. Our fear of who we think we're not is going to be our biggest roadblock: now let that sink in.
Fear of not embracing who you really are is going to rob you of shining bright. You have a love affair with the dimmer switch.
Mental programming: it begins at birth. There is confidence, courage, bravery, fearlessness, pure joy, and laughter, and somewhere along the way it shrunk and your dimmer switch was installed. The only trades service you will never pay for with money, but instead, you bargain with your fullest potential.
Until one day: a fuse breaks and the light shines a little bit brighter. You recognize how brave and courageous you have already been, and you understand you can create this habit again.
You are in the driver's seat: foot on the gas.
Whoever the chauffeur was before, they were never permanent.
You got scared, the roads are just so busy... let me in that lane would you?
But no one moves, why not? You’re bright, you’re worth noticing, excuse me? You’re trying to be polite… look at me, I would move for you! But nothing, your lane change didn’t happen. You feel confused, you thought you were a good driver.
Look at them, driving their nice cars, they’re in the fast lane, and where are you? You’re in your lane, and that’s just it: you’re in YOUR lane.
No one let you in because you’re not supposed to leave where you are.
You must stay on your highway, the destination is different, the destination is meant for you. If you follow someone else’s the authenticity is lost, and gone forever.
Spinning spinning spinning.
Up and down, up and down.
Hello fear: we meet again.
Hello bravery: we meet again.
Life is hard.
It's beautiful and exciting, blooming bright flowers.
And then it's cloudy, and the garden needs weeding.
It’s a mixture of beauty and darkness all in one, creating the perfect balance.
The beauty creates gratefulness: thankfulness.
The darkness cultivates patience, perseverance, and bravery will emerge.
The wheels spin.
Rise up, fall down, rise up, fall down.
Embrace every twist, every turn, and every curve.
Life is meant to be filled with experiences.
Experiences that bring growth are beauty in disguise.
Constantly changing, nothing stays the same.
Keep moving forward because growth never ends.
There are good days, bad days, sad days, tired days, and all the mediocre days in between.
What matters is we keep going, we never stop showing up.
Seasons come and go, and life will never stop or slow down for us.
Breathe in, breathe out.
Let yourself feel it all.
Spinning spinning spinning.
Up and down, up and down.
Hello fear: we meet again.
Hello bravery: we meet again.
So what does this all mean:
We all have fears: but we must choose to work with the fear rather than against it.
We need to shine bright in our own lane.
Take the lid off the box.
Stop being afraid or ashamed because you’re good at something. You’re shining brighter than ever before: you took a chance.
You said: I’m worth it, I’m worth the success that I will get in this life.
Now say it with me: I AM WORTHY.
It’s hard to not let your past dictate your future, but you can’t let it cut you off.
Just like healing takes time, so does rewriting your mental programming.
Some days it’s easy breezy, other days.... not so much.
The point is: not every day is glamourous.... really.
But slow and steady wins the race. You have to trust that the plane you’re flying, the garden you’re planting, the train you’ve called ALL ABOARD for is going in the right direction.
Enjoy the ride, a ferris wheel running 24/7. Be present and soak in the excitement as you rise up to the top. Breath in the satisfaction while you’re rising up, being your very best! When the wheels turn, because they will, life is full of twists and turns: embrace it.
Trust the process, you’ll hear that all the time. Its true though, there is a reason for every season, even if you aren’t clear on the why. You have to find your patience and perseverance, because you will rise up again. An up will come with a down. Embrace your ride, enjoy each moment because there is a lesson in everything.
The world needs me, the world needs you, the world needs us.
So replant your garden if you need to, get rid of your fence if you’ve built one, heck add extra track for your train, but find your people, find your groove and keep your foot on the gas. You’re going somewhere bright and beautiful, and the destination is made just for YOU.
Be courageous, and let go. Allow life to carry you down your path to success.
