We made it through Winter, nearly.
I hate long dark nights

We made it through Winter nearly
We made it through the darkest part of winter,
The chill, the quiet, the skies so dim.
Here’s to spring, with its gentle light,
A time to grow, a time to begin.
The frost retreats, the earth takes breath,
Buds awaken from their rest.
Here’s to warmth, to life renewed,
To brighter days and skies of blue.
We weathered the cold, the longest night,
Now hope returns with morning light.
Here’s to spring, its promise clear,
A season of growth, a new daw is near.

Nice👌
Lovely poem about making it through… I believe in the last line that “drawn” is supposed to be dawn
Beautiful... I love the line "Now hope returns with morning light." You did a wonderful job with your rhyme scheme and poetic timing. Excellent work! I subscribed to you!!! 😎

We haven't made it through the winter yet. February is the worst month here in Delaware USA. But here is to warmer day, -warmer nights, and sunshine most of all.
