A rolling stone gathers no
chickens before they hatch
and the best laid plans of mice and men
are paved with good intentions.
A stitch in time saves
a penny earned
and the devil is in the
proof is in the pudding.
It’s always darkest before
the perfect storm
and hell hath no fury like
a silver lining.
It’s my cross to
bear witness,
silence is
the better part of valor.
If wishes were
fish in the sea
a rising tide raises all
ships passing in the night.
One day, my prince will
come rain or shine
out of the frying pan and
we’ll burn that bridge when we come to it.
