We'll Be Rockin'

on the front porch

By Julie O'Hara - Author, Poet and Spiritual WarriorPublished 5 years ago Updated 2 years ago 1 min read

V-1

When our final days are winding down

And we can see our ending years approaching

I will thank God for the love he has given us

And the precious memories that we hold dear

CH:

We’ll be rockin’ on the front porch, sipping lemonade

Holding each other’s hands so tightly

And remembering all the love we made

Just rockin’ on the front porch, sipping lemonade

Holding each other’s hands so tightly,

Holding each other’s hearts so near.

V-2

The kids will all be grown and gone

And raising young ones of their own

While we are living out the lives we promised

When we started building our little home

Br:

You’re all I ever wanted

And you’re all I ever needed

I promise you will never be forgotten

Even after my heart no longer beats

Repeat CH
