“We Handle Everything!” Says the vanity farm
Which likely assumes they do no harm
I knew their quality was poor
Without even asking for more
Due to the abhorrent length of that arm

Seriously…I can do a better photoshop job. Also, vanity publishers are bad. It saddens me that within five minutes of reading Raymond’s post, I was able to find a relevant example and write the above limerick. Raymond’s prompt below:

this tickled me...loved the "abhorrence" adjective of the arm
Okay the arm did make me laugh!
Haha! Laughing and crying a bit!
Bravo, Matthew. <3 Love this🤣
I got a good laugh out of that image. Sure, let's hire this publisher. Their design work is amazing! I still get way too manyemails from vanity publishers. I gotta' go check out Raymond's prompt!
Hahaha! That last line. Don't know much about vanity, so thanks for the humorous warning.
That was fun!! Nicely done Matthew!
🤣 good one!
I love that final line. It also doesn’t hurt that I hate vanity publishers overall. Great job!
That arm. And I hate vanity publishers with a passion. Ruining and capitalising on the ruining of people's dreams for a quick profit. But that arm. That arm reminds me of a picture of Ariana Grande...might have been a cover and she was on a stool but it made no sense how she could be sat in the position she was. I digress, this is a great entry for Ray's cool challenge. Well done, sir!
What's truly sublime is I stopped scrolling to stare at her hand and wonder why I keyed to it so fast. Hadn't even read the poem. Truly inspired sampling of the vultures feeding off the desperation of independent authors
Ha ha ha ha ha! That’s truly inspired
