One day my name will be forgotten
Fiction always challenges the sane
All things will be forgotten in the end
***
Beautifully attractive, while inside the core is rotten
Sacrifice is lost when nothing’s left to gain
One day my name will be forgotten
***
There is no one left to send
That could ever mask the pain
All things will be forgotten in the end
***
Sad the losing of a friend
With no hope to love again
One day my name will be forgotten
***
So we practice at pretend
Though nothing will ever be the same
All things will be forgotten in the end
***
So, this moment signifies the beginning of the end
Regrets a game that only fools play
One day my name will be forgotten
All things will be forgotten in the end

Truth is both relevant and painful; the art of poetic form which you clearly have a great hold of, allows this part of life to spill straightforward into our hearts. Well delivered Kelli.
Kelli, you said a mouthful with this one and how true your poem is. Great work.
It's a scary thought, Kelli!! I love the effect of the repetition...very poignant!
