A love poem

You cascade like the fall of my heart

Flooding my cells with nourishment

I grow because of you

My only storm now a thunder of love

You pour into me

Filling my life with joy

I stand behind your curtain

Protected and shielded from the rocks that fall

Even when I break your surface

You push me back up and keep me from drowning

I float on the air of your love

You power me with relentless energy

Feed me with hope

Give me buoyancy when I need it most

I stand in awe of your beauty

I long to be the water to your falls

Like you are the fall to my water

Because we flow together like nature
