Water Bottle

A little vessel small and round,

Filled with most valuable sound,

A tasty beverage, a clear liquid prefound,

In a water bottle found.

A representation of our need to quench,

and need to live in our environment,

With every drink, a story tell,

of a well long journey and travel.

######

Snow first appears on a farway peak,

streams, other fluids and small creeks,

An ocean's leak and a river's flow,

After that, it is ours to drink and look for.

But when we're done, and it's discarded,

A new life it has not yet started,

A burden on earth, and not departed,

A water bottle, broken-hearted.

So let us appreciate and respect,

This basic yet essential object,

and do our best to protect,

The water, in bottle, we collect.
