Warrior's Heart.

I will not Quit.

By Paula RowlandsPublished 9 months ago 1 min read

Warrior's Heart (original Poem, that I turned into a song).

Evil whispers driving me insane

with the devil's curse inside my brain

the fires burning but I've felt worse

a warrior's heart will break this curse

Chains of doubt they weigh me down

but I can swim, I will not drown

I'll fight the devil, ignite his flame

but I will not let him take my name

A warrior's heart will break this curse

screams will echo but I've had worse

my hands they grip the endless pit

there's a storm inside, but I will not quit

Every demon haunts his prey

and shadows claw whilst they play

masks of fear they try to claim

but a warrior's heart won't play their game

The devils laugh, it cuts my soul

but I will rise from his twisted hole

I'm a warrior, can't you tell

I've clawed my way back from hell

A warrior's heart will break this curse

screams will echo but I've had worse

my hands they grip the endless pit

there's a storm inside, but I will not quit

I'll rise from ashes' I'll rise from gloom

and carve my name upon his tomb

the flames can dance as I depart

I defeated the devil with a warrior's heart.
