warning:

not every mother is safe.

By Sarah RittPublished about 12 hours ago 1 min read

warning: i have something to say.

warning: not every mother is safe.

warning: the child who breaks free, does so for a reason.

warning: what i have survived, does not get talked about.

warning: we are taught to forget

warning: what our bodies remember.

warning: i was not supposed to live.

warning: i was not supposed to breathe.

warning: but i am still living.

warning: and i am still breathing.

warning: and so are my words.

warning: and so is my story.

warning: and i have survived

warning: what should have just killed me

warning: and i will not stop

warning: and i will not

warning: stay silent.
