War—A New Beginning

They are changing lives in another way

Why do you care?

War nobody roars

The winner loses

Everybody on the floor

You can ignore it

But it's happening

Weapon zapping

Life piles up to the door

Reach as high as the mountain

Down fast, bloodline fountain

Still dripping, a wet layer upon,

stones, heavy body, cold rock,

dragging until dry and stiff, stop.

Mop away the soul that never

wanted to stay, ever wanted to say,

fought for their country and family.

Some had no choice, others moved on.

No one knew who they were, why

they went to war, losing their life.

At least they were brave to face it.

Or dumb enough to follow along.

Wars are not just on common ground.

Look around, look at your job,

Look at your life, look at your wife.

Staring right back at you.

They care about you; they are there with you.

Fighting our own battle in life.

It will never stop, even if you’re at the top.

Falling only gets deeper and steeper

losers keepers, winners teacher.

It’s just a cycle, one after another.
