Waning Friendships

A beautiful poem

I can see that you have lost me,

Our friendship is waning day by day.

We are no longer together,

Maybe, we don’t belong to each other.

You are disappearing from my life day by day,

And it is okay if it happens for your and my health.

Because I have known that nothing is more important than health,

The peace of our minds means the most at this point.

If leaving one another means happiness and thorough check of the life,

Then I don’t think leaving you is a bad decision.

You now have all that you needed,

I also want the life I had lost while chasing you and loving you.

I love this! I'm currently in the process of letting some friendships go. We simply have morphed into different people and the connection we once had isn't there anymore. It's sad but freeing at the same time. I hope this comment finds you well. :)
