The secret to martial arts lies
not in power of the punch orΒ
the speed of the kick, butΒ
in the power of breathing deeply.
I have the lung capacityΒ
of a marathon runner andΒ
yet I do not run.Β .Β .

The Samurai Mindful WalkingΒ Method
first, inhale deeply or suu εΈγΒ .Β .Β .
and then exhale deeply or haku εγ.Β .Β .Β .Β
repeat again and again.Β .Β .Β .
againΒ .Β .Β .
Firstly, take three steps,Β
breathe in or inhale deeply,
one continuous breath,Β
as you walk 2 stepsΒ .Β .
Secondly, take ten more steps forward,Β
breathe out deeply,Β
with one continuous slowΒ exhale.
Repeat for about 20 minutes,Β
trying this at least 3 times a day.
you can even do this without walking.Β .Β .Β .
