Walking Iris

A bloom that moves without a foot, petals folded in quiet ambition— purple like twilight prayers, leaning from pot to soil, as if each sprout dreams of elsewhere.

Walking Iris

It does not rush.

It does not beg.

The world bends slowly around it,

while it inches forward

with grace you’ll miss if you blink.

Some things only blossom

when they believe no one is watching.

I like how you describe something that moves at its own pace. It makes me think of projects I've worked on where rushing never helped. Instead, taking our time and being patient led to better results. How do you think this idea applies to personal growth or relationships? Do we sometimes need to let things develop without forcing them?
