Kai Cenat is the face of the youth when it comes to streaming and content creation; he is the youth's version of The Wendy Williams Show, Ricky Lake, and Oprah Winfrey. For those who don’t know, Kai Cenat is a Haitian American who was raised in Brooklyn, New York. He grew up with a rough childhood, but he always knew he had a voice to connect. He started streaming around the age of 16, and now, at the young age of 23, he’s one of the world's most influential internet creators. He has a remarkably loyal fan base on his Twitch account, where he collaborates with the likes of Kevin Hart, Sexy Redd, John Cena, and so much more.

Kai wanted to push content creation to the next level, so he came up with an idea called Streamers University, where he invited some of the world's top streamers, such as Duke Dennis, Tylil, Ray, etc., while also extending the invitation to a few streamers who barely averaged 50 views per stream. It was a huge success. Kai rented out an entire college in Ohio, flew all the content creators out, and covered all of their expenses and food while they were there. For four days, they had some of the more established streamers be “professors” and give advice to the younger streamers. He offered a safe environment for the whole streaming community to come together while also showing the world that this is the future and he is at the head of this movement. He invested more than 3 million dollars of his own money but was easily able to recoup and make a profit due to not only streaming to his fan base, but also getting a percentage of all of the streamers' streams. This was such a game changer because it showed a guy who’s on top of the game not gatekeeping and sharing his knowledge with others in his field. He was even offered deals from powerhouse companies such as Netflix and Amazon Prime, but he respectfully declined because he knew where this could take him.

I'm excited to see if he does it again next year, but if he doesn’t, he helped change so many people's lives this weekend by getting them more exposure and instilling faith in them that streaming can change your life. In the words of the streaming community, "W move, Kai Cenat!" Good job showing the world that each one can teach one.

Kai Cenat's Streamers University is seriously impressive. It's great to see someone in the spotlight not being selfish with their knowledge. Do you think more big streamers will follow his lead and create similar educational opportunities? I wonder what he'll come up with next to keep pushing the content creation scene forward. It's clear he's got a knack for innovation.
