Vocal's timely Comfort

I must admit

I have been feeling fed up with the Vocal folks

Sort of like going slowly on a spinning wheel

Going nowhere fast yet hoping for something

Revolutionary to save me from drowning

Within the cacophony and noises, of words

Ideas, thoughts, stories and diverse voices of people

Astounding my senses, overwhelming my sanity

By introducing Comfort, they saved me from myself

I visibly relaxed and breathed, I smiled

How did they know that I needed to think

To write, to inhale and exhale a bit of comfort

Sometimes I think of those folks as ogres

Sometimes I think that they are magicians

Like now, for instance, it's sheer magic

This timely challenge, made to decompress

Depressurize and renew our spirits

Comfort can be found in the strangest of places

Of situations, of thoughts and ideas

Or just believing that somewhere

Someone is concerned with one's well being!

One for all and all for one!

Dare to hope that they too are decompressing

And depressurizing! Comfort to all!
