Dear Vocal,
I like the writing community here
But here lately I been feeling unseen
Unheard
Unread
Hidden even
Like my efforts don’t meet your standards
Like my words aren't good enough for you
Am I doing something wrong
Are my poems ain’t long enough
Am I not writing enough
Are my words robotic
Even read and commented on others
Still, my words are not seen
Do you want more of a variety
More than poetry
Feelings are not important here
Should I not share links so others can read
These are all thoughts I think after every writing piece
Just please stop hiding me

Hey, I'm Emily! Thanks for reading. Hope you read something that inspires you. Or something that you find relatable.

I think it's because of the changes they made to the Leaderboard. But I'm always here. Sending you lots of love and hugs ❤️
I always see you and appreciate your work!
Just continue to write with your heart & soul as you've been doing. It WILL pay off. Your work always stands out! Take care girlie! God bless you! 🌸
I see you, Emily! Even if I don't always comment, I often visit your pieces. For me, time is a factor but I'll regularly drop in. Hang in there.
I know exactly how you feel, Vocal seem to have a few favourites who continually show up in Top stories and challenge wins and on the Leaderboard. I got an honourable mention yesterday but haven't a clue why as I did;, as my stories don't get many hearts or comments.
I have to agree with Mother Combs. Sadly, a lot of readership has been lost lately and I do think it’s partially because there’s no reward for reading anymore. You’re not the only one, Emily. Stay strong and hang in there—we see you!
I see you ❤️
I honestly think everyone is seeing the repercussions of the Leaderboard being revamped. Now that no one has an incentive to leave comments and support anyone, their true natures are coming out. Most of them weren't reading anyway, just leaving a comment trying for that Leaderboard award. I've been around, and reading as much as possible. Sorry, I haven't commented much, Emily. I've gotten a little busy with life and behind on my reading. But I have read your poems, even if I didn't comment <3
