Every VILLAIN has a backstory, right?
Why do people not ask them just one simple question —
What happened?
And that's it.
A piece of their hurt, seeking help, would scream with all its might
and tell you what happened.
And you just have to listen to them pouring their hearts out,
like a kid after he fell off the swings.
People have stopped asking questions,
and they believe what they are told.
They always assume a VILLAIN is always the bad guy,
trying to ruin things.
Maybe once he was the HERO trying to make things right.
Maybe once he cared too much,
and now he doesn’t care at all.
Maybe once he was so selfless that it made him selfish.
Maybe once all he wanted was happiness, but all he got was pain.
Maybe once all he wanted was to be loved, but he only got hate.
All he wanted
was for someone to ask:
What happened?
