She always knew

She finally choose herself

By Fairy yadavPublished 9 months ago 1 min read

And then one day, she finally jumped, as her friends and family watched.

She gave them a gentle smile, thanking them for everything.

(Her body thudded.)

Everyone ran in the direction she fell.

Blood gushed from her head, but a soft smile remained on her face.

She was finally free from her demons and ready for a new beginning.

They cried for a day or two, and then moved on, forgetting she ever existed.

She saw all this from beyond and gave a subtle nod, as if she had always known it would happen.

Without looking back, she slowly walked toward the light.
