Versus Verses

The shape of caring

By Meredith HarmonPublished 12 months ago 1 min read
It's hard to reach out.

_______________________You think I can’t see your point of view?

_______________________That I’m so stubborn and pig-headed

_______________________That I can’t reach across this barrier

_______________________And see your point?

There, is that better?

We’re on the same side, you know.

Of course I get it.

I know you.

I love the playful back-and-forth energy here! It's like a little dance of understanding and frustration, but with a soft, sweet finish. The “Do you need a hug?” feels like a perfect soft landing.
