With arrant sadness, cursed blues
Mine tragic life of unpaid dues
I gaze upon God’s splendid hues
And shame the grace I so abuse
With poor decisions oft I choose
Ignoring wisdom’s hinted cues
Thine wasted gifts I nary use
Repentant comport, Lord I muse
About the Creator
Earl W. Pearl
I’ve been writing poetry (rhyming mostly) since about 2014 and have recently transitioned to writing novels and short stories. My poetry genres are faith, humor, social issues, politics, pretty much any subject matter.
