"Thou therefore rise; vanish thou weariness

By the mind’s effort, in each struggle form’d

To vanquish, if she suffer not the weight

Of her corporeal frame to crush her down."

Dante’s Inferno (Canto 24)

— Dante Alighieri

***

Dante is weary down on Circle Eight.

Vanishing to the depths of Hell is hot.

What did you expect giving Hell a shot?

It’s interesting, but why all the hate?

Take a break and go out on a date.

Try a babe on the Eighth and get serious.

It couldn’t be any more deleterious.

Yet, you insist on your odd strategy.

Go get it, since you’ve written it to be.

Thou therefore rise; vanish thy weariness.

You credit the mind’s effort in struggles.

Yet, this is a struggle to vanish your tale.

It’s a great piece, but it’s getting so stale.

Why hornets and snakes as the source of our juggles?

How about some plain old-fashioned cuddles?

Ever since to the Eighth you storm’d,

any R&R has been vanished and scorned.

With masochistic tendencies like yours,

pain is your bitch with the likes of this discourse.

By the mind’s effort, in each struggle form’d

Something in the Eighth wreaks of misogyny.

Trashing her weight just put you at zero.

Explore her erotic zones; be her hero.

Maybe she’s ready for exclusivity,

Start some devilish impropriety.

She’s already in a hot and sweaty state.

Take her now; don’t make her weight, ahem, wait.

You have to say it; it’s in Canto 24.

Go ahead; we’ve heard it often before.

To vanquish, if she suffer not the weight

Dante, this has been corporeally unreal.

Speaking of vanquishing and vanishing,

it’s the fourth stanza I’m now completing.

On the fourth line, I should soon seal the deal.

With the fifth line vanishing for the sixth’s steal.

Your Inferno disappears my Glosa hands down.

Yet, I will not leave with a vanished frown.

But, let’s not quibble; it was fun this way.

Crushing corporeally is not, okay?

Of her corporeal frame to crush her down.
