Two people sat by the sea, hurting.
Past love deeds crushed hearts.
They broke the ice, chatted for hours.
He built her a sand castle
She made shell flowers.
Want to get a burger, he smiled
Yes she beamed
Third wedding anniversary
Coming up soon, love bloomed

Sad but beautiful
I read it twice. I just wanted to know did they meet on the beach, and then fell in love and were on their third anniversary. I am not real good at interrupting poetry sometimes. Beautiful words. Well Done!!!
