Vultures spiral above the barren dusk,

Veins of the earth pulse beneath crack

Venus light smudges the sky

Vines strangle the bones of a sunken temple

Vapors curl from the lake’s mouth

Voices echo through the hollow well

Vanishing footsteps linger in dew

Velvet moths cling to charred bark

Viridian moss clings to timeworn stone

Visions flicker in candle smoke

Vultures return, wings wider now

Valleys shiver as wind runs its fingers through fields of silver

Victories carved on shields, left to rust beneath

Villains remain behind the tunnels

Votive flames dance in broken chapels

voids whisper silence

Vigilant owls perch on crooked gates

Violets bloom where bones once slept

Vaults of memory crack open

Volcanic hush seeps from the horizon

Vicarious shadows stretch across glass
