Brighter skies, ever clearer,

Love to draw, ever nearer,

For all that was, and what it, will bring,

Upon the first days of spring.

Despite the scorn, of winters disdain,

Bitter loss and nothing to gain,

The hope for more, a new thing,

Upon the first days of spring,

Flowers to blossom, roses to bloom,

Away from the days of constant gloom,

The sound of the droplets as they ring,

Upon the first days of spring.

Days of joy, sharing plenty,

Abundant crops, harvest many,

Uplifted praises to boast and sing,

To turn about from the coldest sting,

Upon the first days of spring...
