The legend of the rider, who went out at night.

It was a night, so dark and dim,

Where rain would pour, the feeling grim,

The sound of thunder to amplify the pain,

A constant scorn, disdain!

Lingering in a cave, deep within the night,

Panting, gasping, through it all, despite!

*Gallop, gallop*

The sound of hooves would push forward, fast,

A heart would lift as it went past,

"Help, help," to uplift a cry,

A dash of hope, a sigh.

The rider turned his determined head,

And saw a shape, and where it tread,

He turned about and went with his steed,

To a lonely soul, in need.

So it came, the heart would know,

As the riders eyes, would glow,

The screams to lift, with fear and fright,

The terror of the rider that only went out, at night...

The mystery, the legend, the tale of death and woe,

The specter in the nightfall, The knight at dark, would go...
