I haven’t felt like writing
This happens from time to time
I just can’t find a reason
No words seem to rhyme
.
I know it’s just a phase
One that never fully takes shape
Days run together in a haze
It’s more like the absence of shape
.
I’m not worried though
I’ve been here before
So I know
The words will always recommence to flow
.
It’s like a tap
Sometimes I go untapped
But when the handle turns
It always comes back
.
Just something within me
That always returns
To my craft of writing
I will always reverb
