Spirit been on E lately
Low and unfed
Hunger and longing my soul cried out
Ignoring the cry makes my body frozen in bed
My brain wonders into unproductive spaces
No a song won’t do
Not even a short word of inspiration
So I will pray
Fill me up
Speak to my spirit
Wake up the gifts inside of me
Touch my spirit
Walk with me
Make my body feel light
Carry me
My spirit needs you
Then I read the daily bread
So my spirit will be fulfilled
No more hunger
No more longing
No more wondering of unproductive spaces
I am focus on my purpose
And I am using the gifts God gave me
